Membership Guidelines

Do you want to be a member of Okie Horror? We don’t have a lot of rules. Basically, there are three rules for membership.

1) You have to have a book to to promote, and it cannot be self-published. Small press is fine, but it has to be a real publisher with an editorial process, and who pays you for what you do. We were newbies once, ourselves, and we understand what it’s like. But we’re looking for opportunities to promote our work. If you don’t have something to promote, we hope you’ll continue to lurk and read, but you won’t be listed as a member.

2) You have to live in Oklahoma or a state bordering the Sooner State. Our founders are based in Oklahoma and we love to do out-of-state events, but we’re looking to keep our membership in reasonable driving distance.

3) You aren’t a pain in the ass. If that’s not self-explanatory, please go away.
